Mrs Beko cleared away the tea and what was left of the cakes. She turned to Mr Zanussi and said 'Why dont you show Mrs Indesit the neighbourhood, I'll catch up with you when I finished up here'.
Mrs Indesit followed Mr Zanussi out the door, waving goodbye as they left.
As they walked along the road, either side were different appliances all the sizes of of two story houses, there was a Bosch Oven with doors and windows, next door was a Neff cooker. The door flung open at the next house which happened to be a Hoover washing machine, a small boy and girl came running out squealing with excitement, not looking where they were going they ran straight into Mr Zanussi. 'Steady on you two' chuckled Mr Zanussi. 'Where are you off to in such a hurry?' he asked. 'We're off to Mrs Beko, for some delicious cakes'they replied. 'So thats why youre so excited, off you go then!' As he looked back at the door Mrs Miele was waving and calling him over.
'Mr Zanussi, am I glad to see you' Mrs Miele said. My cooker is not working properly, I really need you to have a look at it for me. Ofcourse I will said Mr Zanussi, he introduced Mrs Indesit and they all walked through to the kitchen. Mrs Indesit sat down at the large wooden table while Mrs miele put the kettle on. 'What seems to be the problem with it' asked Mr Zanussi, while he stood swicthing on knobs and testing the hob. My Oven has stopped heating and I have had to cook everything on the top, which is no good when it comes to baking and roasts. Mr Zanussi, was now testing the oven.'Your element has blown, Im going to have to pop to the workshop and get you one. With that he jumped up and said be back in five. Mrs Indesit stood up, 'Where are you going?' she asked. 'I'll be 5 mins i'll explain when i get back. You sit and keep Mrs Miele company, I won't be long'. he then darted out the front door. Mrs Indesit sat nervously there she was in this strange place with this strange woman and was a little worried that Mr zanussi might not come back. Mrs Indesit sat nervously sipping her tea listening to Mrs Miele chatting away about how glad she was that Mr zanussi had turned up and what a lovely man he was. How the village wouldn't know what to do without him and how they would love him to stay and he never does, off he goes again, just like that, demonstrating with a click of her fingers. On cue in walked Mr zanussi, Mrs Indesit breathed a sigh of relief. Mr Zanussi got down on his knees in front of the oven, he lent inside rattling away at screws while Mrs Indesit and Mrs Miele sat and watched. Mr Zanussi laid the old element on the floor, he took the plastic wrapping of the new one and began to rattle and clink inside the oven. 'All done! Mrs Miele you will be baking cakes and roasts in no time. He got up of his knees and tidied up the rubbish. He took his screwdriver out of his back pocket and said 'I just need to tighten this last screw and you are good to go. 'Oh thank you Mr zanussi, said Mrs Miele. Then as Mr Zanussi tightened that last screw, there was a bright spark of light it ran across the room stopping at Mrs Indesits feet, the room turned extremely bright and as Mrs Indesit blinked she found herself stood in her kitchen, with Mr Zanussi telling her that her tumbledryer had been fixed.
